Beloved husband of Anne, loving father of Linda, June, Brenda, David and Paul and much loved papa to his 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. We sat beside your bedside, and willed you to get well, We talked about the good times, and endless stories we did tell, We recalled all the sayings that you used to show you care, And as it's time to say goodbye, it's these words with you we share, You were such a loving presence, but your time had come to rest, And we whispered as you closed your eyes, "Who loves you the best? Dear husband, dad and papa, our love is strong and bold, You're special and "you're precious" and "we love you like gold" Funeral service, to which all friends and family are respectfully invited, will take place on Saturday 21st May 2016 at Hillhouse Parish Church at 10am, thereafter to the West Cemetery arriving at 10.45am.
